Blog and Pages, can they load differnet plugins?

Hi

Was wondering if the blog and and pages can load differnet plugins by the service.config? from what i looked at they both seemed to use the same config.

Also, from what i seen not fully looked at it yet but they also use the same markup etc? and this can't be split unless the code is altered/dulpicated for pages right?

They both use the Blog plugin to gain from the features of the blog plugin such as sitemap, wlwmanifest, comments, by date, by author, by category, etc.  They do use the same markup, however this can be altered in multiple ways.

  1. The recommended way is to *just* make changes to the CSS (like http://atomsite.net/info collection) and width/template settings, see http://atomsite.net/info/Themes.xhtml#widths
  2. For complete control over the markup, you can create a new theme and then point just the page collection at that theme.
